The Reverend Father Greg Taylor
The Reverend Father Greg Taylor has been active in Anglican churches since 1965. He earned an M.A. in Journalism at Northwestern University, and a Masters in Divinity at Virginia Theological Seminary.
He serves as canon and chaplain to Arch Bishop Michael B. Simmons.
Greg offers daily intercessions on behalf of many persons, groups, projects, and events. He ministers Pastoral care and counsel to local people, several hundred inmates at two jails and five prisons via hand-written letters, Bibles, Christian books and Biblical teachings as well as ministering sacramental confession prayers for inner healing.
Through the House of Prayer Chapel in Wetumpka, the Holy Eucharist is offered most Sundays, or mid-week for persons working on Sunday. This service is also provided for those attending business meetings or spiritual retreats that focus on resting one's body, restoring one's soul, and growing closer to Jesus Christ -- who is the beginning and end of our mission.
Greg has authored seven major Bible teachings. He offers tours, by appointment, of God's Garden at the House of Prayer Chapel (1265 Old U.S. Hwy 231 in Wetumpka, Alabama). |

The Reverend Deacon James Hood
 |
The Reverend Deacon James Hood has ministered in the Native American Ministry, the Senior Adult Ministry, the Soul Winners' Evangelistic Team, and the Prison Reach in Service Mission. His work in the Native American Ministry has been a one-on-one witnessing street-type ministry, the "street" being Pow-Wows and Native Gatherings.
The Senior Adult Ministry consists of Church Services held in Rest Homes and wherever senior adults gather. James' dear departed Mother helped him "start" this ministry when she volunteered his services at the Presbyterian Manor in Tarrant, Alabama where she lived.
The Soul Winners Evangelistic Team started in the Woodlawn area of Birmingham, Alabama. Ministers from different churches began to meet at McDonald's for a "brotherhood breakfast" after James and two other ministers got involved talking about the Lord's goodness and miracles in their lives.
Experiencing some difficulties with permission to minister, the Prison Reach in Service Mission seems to be lagging. James has pursued his ministry in small jails while logistics are worked out for the larger correctional facilities. His focus in the small jails has been through giving to "Angel Tree," a support effort for prisoners' families.
James has several other ministries that are in the planning stages: Dove Tree Acres, Jim Hood Mission, Children's Ministry, and Foreign & Home Missions Outreach.
James holds a Bachelor's of Sacred Literature degree from Holmes Theological Seminary in Greenville, South Carolina. He taught Academy classes in Algebra, Ancient History, and World Geography his senior year as a student teacher. The following year, he became a member of the faculty. James is now working on his ThB from Holy Spirit College. |

Our Church
We proclaim the Bishop of Rome to be successor of Peter and Holy Prophet, Seer, and Revelator. We accept his spiritual authority.
We proclaim our Church to be Catholic, not Protestant.
We seek reunion and communion with the Roman Catholic Church.
We accept the Apostolic Creed as a statement of our faith. We profess to be a confessional faith in the Lutheran tradition.
We believe that ecclesiastical and priestly authority are derived only through Apostolic authority, meaning the laying on of hands , in an unbroken link, from Jesus Christ.
We proclaim Episcopal authority to be the interpreter of Scripture, Dogma, and tradition, so far as bishops are inspired by the Holy Ghost.
We proclaim the evangelical tradition of the church, as founded by Jesus Christ and the Apostles.
We worship in a liturgical tradition and believe the Eucharist to be at the center of our worship life. We pray to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to the Saints for intersession.
